Flat tyre in Dubai: what to do first

Stop safely, protect yourself from traffic and send enough information for the right mobile response.

Move to the safest available position

Slow down without sudden steering or braking. Move away from active traffic when the vehicle can be moved safely. Use hazard lights and follow police or road-operator guidance on a dangerous road.

Avoid driving on a fully flat tyre

Driving without pressure can damage the sidewall and internal structure, even when the original puncture was small. A repair may no longer be safe after the tyre has been driven flat.

Send useful information

Share the live location, vehicle model, tyre size, clear tyre photos and whether the vehicle has a usable spare. Mention building, basement or road-access restrictions.

Repair or replacement?

A suitable tread-area puncture may be repairable after inspection. Sidewall damage, severe cuts, internal damage, low tread or repeated repairs usually require replacement.

How this guidance should be used

Vehicle manufacturer instructions and the actual tyre condition take priority. The photographs and vehicle details should be reviewed before a service decision, and the tyre must be inspected when repair safety is uncertain.

Important

This guide is general information. A technician must inspect the actual tyre and location before confirming a repair or replacement.
